Stone Street
Financial District, New York, NY 10004

The financial district’s tradition of becoming a ghost town after 7pm and on weekends is becoming a myth due to the post-Sandy revitalization this part of the city has gone through in the last year. It seems every new restaurant or bar on Stone Street has sidewalk space, and you know what that means…Fido can come with you. During the week its still a bit of a struggle to truly “stroll” about, but even dog walkers take the area by storm during working hours.

This is the spot to spend an afternoon out, perhaps after a jaunt along the East River. Drop by Adrienne’s Pizzabar for a slice or two, and then grab a pint on the patio at Beckett’s Bar and Grill. Especially patient pooches might want to catch a game of fetch after all this imbibing, so be sure to snag an espresso from Financier Patisserie on your way uptown.

Best for: mid-large breeds, well-behaved dogs that don’t mind a crowd, friendly dogs.
