Where You’ll Stay
Pack your bags (don’t forget the doggy treats) and head to Nashville, where the weather is as warm as the welcome you’ll receive. From Elvis Presley to Taylor Swift, Nashville is appropriately called The Music City. Basically, this is the place for artists and musicians to pursue their big Grammy-award-winning dreams. This downtown Airbnb condo is adorned with guitars and bright colors that pay homage to Nashville’s musical history, while still having modern amenities that include TV, internet, and A/C to keep you and your pooch comfy and relaxed.
With a pool right on the river’s edge, you can enjoy the stunning city view mid doggy paddle. There’s also gym access if you’re interested in working off the hot fried chicken, biscuits, pancakes and all of the other comfort inducing Nashville specialty foods.
Why We Love It
Nashville is a city rich with history, but slow in pace—perfect for relaxation without boredom. Not only is this Airbnb beautiful and very “Nashville,” but the location is ideal for downtown exploring. Staying by the river allows for leisurely walks past some of the city’s landmarks, including the Sounds Stadium, the farmer’s market, and Third Man Records to name a few. Broadway, the hottest strip in the city with a slew of traditional honky-tonks, is also just a short walk away. Let your dog howl along to the live music seeping from almost every bar you pass.
What You Need To Know
Fitting up to six people, this Airbnb has free parking and boasts a five-star rating in all categories with very positive feedback for Brad, the owner. You go, Brad! He offers his advice and knowledge of the city to guests, so take the opportunity to pick his brain on local must-sees and dos. It goes for $1200 a week, with check in at 3:00 PM and check out by 11:00 AM. Though it is pooch-friendly, there are no dog beds or toys so a doggy carry-on is necessary.
Editor’s Note: As always, we recommend that you check with the Airbnb homeowner for specific restrictions on breed, size, or number of dogs allowed in the residence.
