Where You’ll Stay
Nestled in a quiet street of Capitol Hill-Central District, a remodeled Seattle craftsman fit for both relaxing and exploring awaits. This dog friendly Seattle Airbnb gem is just a wag away from downtown and comes decked out with eco-friendly features and calming earth tones juxtaposed with bright pops of color and modern simplicity. The one bedroom apartment comes with a bonus den (in case your dog needs some alone time), a fully stocked kitchen (including coffee and tea), washer and dryer, and a patio for post-sightseeing relaxation.

Eco-retreat is no exaggeration, either. This place isn’t simply stocking a few organic towels and fair-trade coffee, no. We’re talking some serious earth loving mindfulness: solar panels, vegetative roofs (yes, stuff’s growing on them), energy efficiency, non-toxic cleaning, the whole nine (green) yards.

With next-level hospitality from hosts, Marlo and Dylan, you’ll be happy you’re not surrounded by the corporate hullabaloo of downtown Seattle. Rather, just blocks away, your eco-oasis awaits.

Why We Love It
From the moment you step through the door, it’s clear Marlo and Dylan have put a lot of TLC into the space. There’s a fully-stocked toiletry cabinet and much, much more. For your four-legged companion: a plush dog bed, treats, water bowl, a toy, waste bags, and even a towel just for him. There’s also a dog-ready space in the laundry room (complete with a doggy door) in case you happen to go out without him (not that he ever leaves your side, but just in case).

But we can’t stop yet. There are even more awesome touches to love: an outdoor fire pit (s’mores kit included), a lush native garden (complete with swing), a fully operational TV (try not to spend your entire trip on a Game of Thrones binge), and a darling bird bath that greets you upon return (it’s the little things, right?).

We understand it may be hard to leave this amazing eco-retreat, but there’s plenty of worthy things to do nearby. First, hit up the dog friendly neighborhood spots, like Katy’s for coffee and Chuck’s Hop Shop for a gourmet food truck dinner. Insider tip: if you fill up a growler, one of the bartender’s will award your pooch with a giant dog bone, gratis! Marymoor and Magnusen are both nearby off-leash dog parks, and Lake Washington Tennis Ball Beach has, you guessed it, a ton of tennis balls waiting to be fetched. Need more local suggestions? Marlo and Dylan are just upstairs in the main house with a whole list, from bars to bookstores, and everything dog friendly.

Grab a bike (two bikes are available for guests, plus one dog trailer), hop on the bus, or walk to all of these places for the ultimate Seattle Airbnb dog-cation.
