It’s been unscientifically proven that the only way to rid the Chicken Wing song from one’s memory is to eat a ton of chicken wings. Thankfully, Fire on the Mountain has three dog friendly Portland locations to serve you and your chicken wing needs. All three locations come standard with that brewery meets burger joint vibe (yes, there are burgers, calzones, and even fried pickles with chipotle mayo for those with non-wing related needs).

Enjoy the sidewalk seating with your favorite canine at FotM’s Burnside and Interstate locations. Or, in the somewhat likely event it’s raining (or at least drizzling) in Portland, head to FotM’s Fremont location—they’ve got you covered, literally. Here, you and your dog can chow as many wings as your heart desires without a single raindrop touching either of you. The patio is that covered. All the while, you can fall in love with the smell of fresh rain while smothering your wings in delicious wing sauce.

Which brings us to our next point: bring a friend to watch Fido while you step inside to taste all 12 wing sauces. Don’t worry, FotM provides celery for sampling. Sauces range from Mild Buffalo to Raspberry Habanero, and the selection changes frequently. Each one is unique and more delicious than the first, leaving you with thoughts like: “This is the best! No, this is the best!” Just pick the Lime Cilantro and move on.

Once you’ve collected a combination of sauces that’s just right for your free-range, antibiotic and hormone-free wings, you’ll need to consider your beer pairing. With nine handcrafted beers on tap to choose from, there’s bound to be something for you. However, the list rotates frequently, so if you’re not digging today’s Electric Mud Chocolate Oatmeal Stout or the X-Tinguisher Wheat, a. you’re crazy, and b. there will be something new to try in the near future.

Did we mention that FotM converts their fryer oil into Biodiesel fuelCheers to that. So, grab your four-legged pal and head on down to enjoy some wings served on Frisbees (yes, the dog-approved kind).
