Denver Beer Co.
1695 Platte Drive
Denver, CO 80202
The weather outside might be getting frightful, but this delightful brewery welcomes you and your dog inside its cozy taproom.
Denver Beer Co. had humble beginnings in the owners’ garages, but these days, they’re brewing farm-to-table style with a seasonally-changing line up in a hip but casual open space located in trendy Highland. The venue has upgraded, but the warm, welcoming charm is here to stay. Dogs are allowed on the patio and inside. Step in from the winter chill and enjoy a Graham Cracker Porter with the pooch. Or, stop by in the summer for an ice cold Sun Drenched Ale on the patio.
Inspired by the beer gardens of Bavaria in both atmosphere and brew-loving zeitgeist, Denver Beer Co. hosts different food trucks every day of the week, board games and cards, contests on social media, and a dog-welcoming run club (5k walk/jog/run with free pasta dinner and, of course, brews). This brewery’s love of a good time is extended to four-legged patrons as they pass out dog treats and water bowls left and right.
Expect a dog haven amongst groups of people sipping on refreshing Kaffir Lime Wheat while playing Operation and chatting over the bumping music. Swing by anytime you want to indulge in a beer-sipping dog party—Denver Beer Co. is basically a dog park with booze. New friends will be made all around.
Good for: social beer sippers, competitive canines, microbrew aficionados
