The birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, and your dog is itching for an adventure. You guessed it—spring is in the air. We’ll pick our favorite dog friendly Airbnb vacation rental in a city we’d love to visit—so you can pack your suitcase, grab the leash, and get out of town.
Where You’ll Stay
A bright and welcoming Austin Airbnb, with southern charm in both your surroundings and host. Relax and enjoy a secluded three-and-a-half acres of peaceful serenity with a cozy two bedroom, one bath countryside suite (complete with two queen beds for you and your dog). The living room is adorned with warm hues, plus a fireplace. When you’re not busy lounging, whip up some culinary delights in the fully stocked kitchen or grill something up on the outdoor deck with BBQ. Let Fido get in touch with nature and frolic free before and after exploring Austin’s city limits.
Why We Love It
First and foremost, the property provides views worth howling over. You, your dog, and friends will get seclusion and privacy, but also space to roam. Plus, the suite is close to hiking trails and parks—head over to Turkey Creek Trail inside Emma Long Park (no leashes required!). Or try out a hike, bike, or kayak trip—no matter which you choose, you’ve got options. If you’re at a loss for what to do, your host Vincent is on the property if you need anything (and also had a binder full of tips for you at the suite).
You’re not totally removed from civilization, either. There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you tire of BBQing. Not to mention there are lots of little things to appreciate, like no TV and a washer and dryer to wash up after outdoor adventures. So grab some vino from your wine cellar, pack up the frisbee, and hop in the car to head to this getaway.
What You Need to Know
Stay for $123/night (plus a $20 cleaning fee) during springtime months. There is a two night minimum, and the space accommodates up to four people, plus the four-legged one. The suite is not near public transportation, but you can park your car for free on the property and downtown Austin is just a short drive away.
Editor’s Note: As always, we recommend that you check with the dog friendly Airbnb homeowner for specific restrictions on breed, size, or number of dogs allowed in the residence.
