Natachee’s Supper & Punch
3622 Main Street
Houston, TX 77002

There are words in the English language that you can’t say without getting a little thrill.

And we’d be willing to bet that “supper” and “punch” are in there as well.

Meaning that the folks behind the fabulous [see!] spot in question are onto something. And that downright thrilling name is really just the beginning.

Located in the almost-artsy Fourth Ward, you might hear the term ‘kitschy’ being used to describe Natachee’s, but that’s not quite right. This is something far less contrived: Simply a good come-sit-down, let’s-get-you-a-drink, fill-you-up-with-some-proper-Southern-cuisine type of place that’s quietly making its move from brunch spot to all-around attraction.

We say “attraction” because they’ve been adding more and more live music to the roster—not yet nightly, but close. We’ve also noticed more and more dog owners posting up on the back patio, cool drink in hand, Fido never far.

It’s fun without asking too much.

It’s good food without a smidgen of pretentiousness.

But mostly, it’s a relaxed atmosphere that holds up just as well on a Sunday afternoon as it does a Thursday night.

And that’s a little thrill in and of itself.
